ik heb dit gevonden via google:
Beadazzled, Sarphatipark 6, 1072 PA Amsterdam, Tel: 020 - 67 345 87,
http://www.beadazzled.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(Beadazzled sells beads & jewelry, handbags and bowls. To tell the truth I?ve never been in this store, simply because it?s at the other end of the town for me and I didn?t expect it to be any different from the ones I did visit!)
Beadies, Huidenstraat 6, 1016 ES Amsterdam, Tel: 020 428516,
http://www.beadies.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(This is the store that infected me! It?s actually quite small but both its location[it?s in one of the famous 9 straatjes/streets] and its trend-sensitivity make it one of my favorite spots. Whenever I need an extra kick of beads, this is where I?m heading.)
Beads Department, Sint Luciensteeg 22, Amsterdam, Tel: 020 4284213
(This one is located right in the center too, it?s actually in a little side street from the largest shopping street, the Kalverstraat. I happened to be in town the day they opened, so I had to have a look there. They do sell both beads and ready-made jewelry, but they also sell other things like candles, handbags,? I do find it strange that they sell everything by the piece only thoug!)
Coppenhagen 1001 Kralenwinkel, Rozengracht 54, 1016 Amsterdam, Tel: 020 6243681
(This is a no-nonsense bead shop that probably has the biggest selection in town-as far as I know. All beads are sorted by type and color. Prices vary from EUR 0,02 to EUR 9,- They sell seed beads and other small things in bags. I find the staff can have good or bad days, so don?t be put off by someone?s grumpiness, they have some nice treasures that could be discovered!)
H. Bruinink, Burg. Vening Meinezlaan 50-52-54, 1063 BD Amsterdam, Tel: 020 613332
(This is supposed to be the Amsterdam equivalent of crafter?s heaven, at least according to their own judgement. But to be honest, I?ve tried to get there by public transportation TWICE now, and I NEVER found it, must be me but be warned nevertheless-maybe a cab is an idea?)
Jan - De Grote Kleinvakman, Albert Cuypstraat 203/a, 1073 BE Amsterdam
(This store is located at the biggest daily market in Amsterdam. I?ve been there a couple of times to get various things: one can find anything there from sewing threads to knitting wool to iron-on application. If you happen to be in the neighborhood it might be worth a visit even though he is not specialized in bead supplies. But frankly I just enjoy spending time there in the middle of 50+ Surinam mothers trying to find stuff to embellish their daughters? wedding dresses and typical Amsterdam women who come in on an almost daily bases just because it?s their meeting place?)
Pipoos, Buikslotermeerplein 308, Amsterdam, Tel: 020 637401,
http://www.pipoos.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(This is definitely one of the better craft shops here in Amsterdam, but unfortunately it's located on the other side of town. In case you stay somewhere near central station and don?t mind a ?shopping tour? in one of the shabbier parts of Amsterdam. Hob on bus 33,34 or 36 to Amsterdam North from Central Station and get off at the BUIKSLOTERMEERPLEIN.)
De Schatkist, Chr. Huygensplein 33, 1098 RA Amsterdam
Fournitura, Tussen Meer 201, 1069 DN Amsterdam
Schooten Byoux en Kralen, Ferdinand Bolstraat 182, 1072 LV Amsterdam, Tel: 020 6620762
Smoek, Raadhuisstraat 10, Amsterdam, Tel: 020 6203950
Wissewasjes, Purmerplein 21, Amsterdam
(Never seen nor heard of any of these store, but they were listed on a Dutch site for beadaholics, might be worth a visit.)
