kralen weven - where to start?

Hi guys,

I've been living in the Netherlands for a while now and I'd like to start a new hobby - weaving with beads - weven met kralen. With help of dictionary i was able to translate and find a couple of webshops that sell all needed matrials.
Though...i truly don't know which materials i have to buy.\Could you please help me?

1. I have a good wooden weefraam
2. I have a few sets of Miyaki beads
3. I don't know which needles i need? sizes?
4. Which cords (draad) i need? thickness? Brand? material?

Could you let me know about the point 3 and 4 and also which webshop in the NL/BE offers them?

Hello,

I have never used a beadweave frame(?). But I think you can find materials at
http://www.kralenwerk.nl
At the homepage: click at the flag to switch to English version,
then 'go to' : 'shop'. You will see a list of Miyuki and Toho beads, but if you
scroll down a bit you will see 'Thread & Yarn Looming/Necklaces'. Go to that
page and scroll down again untill you see a section 'C-Lon Micro Bead Cord CLMC'.
The second line says that it's suitable for 'loom work with beads'.

About the needles: Go back to 'shop' and choose 'Needles and pins'. The first
needles you see, are titled 'Special beading needles'. But the Dutch translation
says that they are special needles for beadweaving on a frame (speciale naalden
om kralen te rijgen op het weefraam).

So, again I have never used a weefraam, but I hope you can use this information.
